One Jacket, Four Looks - Winter

This jacket from Ricki's is an edgier ode to the Chanel tweed jacket. I like that it has texture, although not tweed like the Chanel.  Instead of buttons, it has zippers to give it a more modern flair.

So for my first outfit, I took inspiration from "The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Style" from the Euro Chic Chapter. In it, it has a section where it shows one item for four seasons and this is the "Winter" option.

I have paired the jacket with a light turtleneck in slate blue, and denim trouser style jeans from Banana Republic. Instead of the open heals as above, I decided to wear booties instead as it gets quite cold here in February. These booties were purchased 2 or more years ago online so I do not remember what the company name was, sorry.

I like that the blazer adds a dressier spin on a basic sweater and jeans outfit. Also, the trouser cut of the jeans is more dressy than a typical pair.

Stay tuned for future posts featuring this jacket in outfits for Spring, Summer and Fall.

Cheers!!
