Bathroom & Powder Room Renovations

This past March we got our main floor powder room and upstairs full bathroom renovated. We used a local contractor, who's team did a good job and we are thrilled with the results, but that we would not hire again due to his attitude.

Unfortunately we butted heads a couple of times over what should have been minor issues, one of which I was in the process of rectifying myself.

In the end however, the rooms look fantastic and we are more than happy with the outcomes of each renovation.

Here are the before Photos of the main floor powder room:

Here are the after photos:

We gained so much extra storage space in the powder room with the new vanity, that we are able to store our cleaning supplies, trash bin and extra toilet paper under the sink. We added a new mirror cabinet to replace the flat mirror that was there before, which allows us to store basic medications such as NyQuil or Neo Citran, etc.

The light blue wall colour really brightens the room up and makes it feel bigger than it is.

Here it is with final decor added:

Now here are the before photos of our upstairs, main bathroom:

And now the after photos:

And with some decor:

We used the same wall colour and floor tiles upstairs to tie it to the powder room. We added two mirror cabinets for extra storage. The white cabinet on the side wall is our medicine cabinet, while the vanity mirror holds our toothpaste and skincare, etc.

I still want to add some more decor to the top of the tower...another vase and maybe add some stones to the simple vase already there...or maybe some potpourri or something...I will figure something out.

I hope you enjoyed a look into our renovated rooms. We plan to do our bedroom and office next so stay tuned for that post.

Cheers!!
