Empty Review: Dead Sea Collection Collagen Anti-Aging Day Cream



Today I am sharing my empty of the Dead Sea Collection Collagen Anti-Aging Day Cream that I purchased at Dollarama to mix with my original Urban Decay Naked Foundation (why it has a tint to it).


This was an awesome moisturizing cream on its own accord, but it absolutely saved the Urban Decay foundation (mentioned above) from being decluttered because it looked so dry and crappy on my skin. When my foundation no longer pumped out of the bottle, I added it to the cream in the tub and mixed them together, as I had been doing on my metal palette.

I knew because I was planning to mix a cream with my foundation, I did not want to spend a lot of money. However, I did not expect that for $4, it would be so nice!! Unfortunately, I have not been able to find it at a few of the Dollarama stores I frequent here in my city. 

They only get so much skin care items as it is, and most of them are masks or cleansers. I do not know of any retailers that normally carry Dead Sea Collection products off hand, so I may have to Google it and see where else I can purchase this in the future, although I doubt I will find it for such a low price as at Dollarama. We will have to see if I can find it, or another equivalently good cream, if I find another foundation that doesn't look great on my skin in the future.

Skulls, Acorns, and Pumpkins...Oh My!

Hygge is a Danish term for adding a "quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being" (Oxford Dictionary). Mostly this is achieved through decorative expression which creates a feeling of welcome and hospitality, and most of all, comfort. Expressing your personality through decor, from everyday to special occasions such as holidays, makes not only you feel comfortable in your home, but others see a part of you in your environment. This first picture is of the shelves in our Powder Room above the toilet. It's fun to add a little holiday flare to unexpected areas of the condo. Self Care is Good for the Soul

I choose Sundays as my day to indulge in some beauty self care. I take a nice relaxing bath, I put on a face mask...sometimes a sheet mask, but most of the time it is some kind of mask you spread on your face manually.  The latest one I tried was this Life Brand Revitalizing Cucumber and Witch Hazel Peel-off mask. It was goopy and spread over the face nicely. It's a clear gel-type mask so you it's hard to tell in the picture below that I have anything on my face, other than it looking wet. I let it dry while I relaxed in the tub.  Once I could feel it was dry, I peeled it off. It left my face soft and glowing, but I wouldn't say it felt overly hydrating or plumped. Overall, it was nice mask to try and not overly expensive either, about $3 CAD at Shopper's Drug Mart. If you can get them on sale for 50% off, stock up on a few different kinds! After my mask, I washed my hair, shaved and washed up. That is how I like to relax each Sunday. What is your self care routine?
